Why These Drives Matter
At the Ace of Hearts Project, we believe no one should be forgotten during the holidays. While our ongoing Toy Drives bring joy to children, many senior citizens in assisted living homes face cold nights with minimal support.
Children: Many kids in foster care, underprivileged families, or dealing with illness go without gifts or surprises at holiday time.
Seniors: Blankets and cozy slippers aren’t just comfort items — they help maintain warmth, dignity, and a feeling of being cared for.
You make the difference: Your generosity turns cold nights and empty holidays into warm homes and bright smiles.
“Your letters and gifts make me feel seen again.” - Liz, Senior resident recipient
“I couldn’t believe someone I don’t even know would think of me.” - Sam, Child after toy delivery

Seniors’ Needs Feature: Blankets & Slippers
Why these items are critical
A senior may have one thin blanket for a whole season; new, warm blankets can drastically improve comfort. Slippers help reduce falls and keep feet warm — especially crucial in winter months.
What works best
Fleece or microfiber blankets (light but insulating)
Throws or lap blankets
Slippers with non-skid soles, sizes from women’s 6 to men’s 13+
Easy to clean (machine washable)
