A Night of Celebration: Festival of Children Launches Its 24th Year at South Coast Plaza

A Hero in the Making: Nine-year-old Ace Christopherson-Bilbruck received this year’s KARA Award for founding the Ace of Hearts Project, an all-youth nonprofit spreading joy and kindness to seniors, foster children, and families in crisis. Ace’s heartfelt mission reminded everyone that kids don’t have to wait their turn to change the world.

🏆 Ace of Hearts Project: Drip Drop Award

The Ace of Hearts Project: Drip Drop Award honors extraordinary kids who go above and beyond to uplift their communities through acts of kindness, creativity, and leadership. Created to celebrate young changemakers who embody the heart of the Ace of Hearts mission—kids helping kids—this award recognizes those who prove that even the smallest drops can create big ripples of positive impact.

This year marks the inaugural presentation of the AOHP: Drip Drop Award, and we are proud to recognize our first-ever recipient: Brady Davies, whose compassion, dedication, and inspiring spirit have made a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Ace of Hearts Project:  Rancho Santa Margarita Mayor’s Award

The Ace of Hearts Project was honored with the prestigious Mayor’s Award in Rancho Santa Margarita, recognizing its extraordinary impact on the community. Led by an all-kid board, the nonprofit was celebrated for inspiring youth to support children in need and bring joy to local seniors through heartfelt service and kindness.
